Henry Loubet Joins Keenan & Associates
As Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning; Loubet to Lead Consumer-Directed
Healthcare Program
Torrance, CA, Sepetmber 3, 2003 – Keenan &
Associates, the largest privately-held brokerage firm in California, announced
the appointment of Henry Loubet as senior vice president, strategic planning.
Loubet will be spearheading Keenan’s newly established Consumer-Directed
Healthcare Program (CDHP), as well as other corporate programs.
“Henry is a recognized industry leader in the California
healthcare benefits marketplace, and is well known for his innovative approaches
to solutions for a consumer-oriented strategy,” according to Sean Smith, chief
executive officer of Keenan & Associates. “We are thrilled to have Henry
aboard, as he has already been working with Keenan in a collaborative capacity
in the industry for more than 12 years. His experience will be a strong asset
for our organization.”
Loubet, named in 1997 as one of California’s top 100
healthcare executives by California Medicine (now Healthcare Business
News), comes to Keenan with more than twenty years of executive level
managed care, provider, hospital administration, and entrepreneurial healthcare
experience.

Most recently, Loubet was vice chairman and chief operating
officer of DrugEmporium.com. He has also had extensive managed healthcare
experience, most notably with United Healthcare, where he served as CEO of their
western region. Before that he was president of Foundation Health of California,
and senior vice president and regional executive for Health Net, responsible for
creating, building and directing their northern and central California region.
Mr. Loubet serves as a director of Pacific Partners
Management Services (PPMSI), Managed Care Systems (MCS), and MCOL. Additionally,
he is a member of the California Medicare Consumer Advisory Council. Previously,
Loubet was a founding member of the Integrated Healthcare Association, and a
board member of the California Association of Health Plans. He holds master’s
degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of San Francisco.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rider University in New Jersey.
